Buffbunny Collection Review April 2018
I ordered from the most recent Buffbunny Collection launch, and I was so excited to get home and open the package that I ordered. I was surprised that it shipped within two days, and arrived shortly after. I ordered the Luna Leggings, Jasmine Joggers, Iris Cross Tank, and the Aurora Crop top. They came individually packaged, however, the Iris Cross Tank came in a different type of package than the others.
Each item comes with their standard tag. It’s white with black lettering, and it’s pinned into the clothing. I’ve heard people complain about the pins, but I’ve never seen an issue with it. They have always been placed in seams or a part of the fabric where I didn’t see it as an issue.
Luna Leggings – Color: Emerald, Composition: 87% Nylon/13% Spandex
I’ll be honest, I already own 3 pair of these (now 4). I debated getting them because I don’t need them, but I do really love these leggings. Green is my favorite color, and I just couldn’t pass them up. These leggings are squat proof, I love that they have pockets, and they come out with new colors every season. They are really comfortable, and I’ve worn them from everything from hiking to heavy lifting and cardio. I honestly don’t sweat a ton, but when I tested out these leggings I did cardio and I was sweating more than usual. I didn’t notice any sweat marks on the leggings, but while I didn’t notice them that doesn’t guarantee that they won’t show sweat.
Jasmine Joggers – Color: Merlot, Composition: 87% Nylon/13% Spandex
The composition is the same as the Luna Leggings, but these feel softer, and they are thinner. They are super comfortable, and I almost wish I bought them in black as well.
Iris Cross Tank – Color: Midnight, Composition: 92% Modal/8% Spandex
This tank is super cute, and as my friend stated “it opens like it’s presenting your perfect booty to the world.” Thanks Jenn 🙂 You can tie it in the back to make it more of a fitted top. It is quite large, but not in a bad way. It is quite stretchy, but it seems to wrinkle very easily. Also, because it’s a little big, while running, it kind of fell weirdly on my body. It wasn’t annoying enough for me to not wear it again, but it was annoying enough to notice it. I might use it for non-running days only.
Aurora Crop – Color: Marble, Composition: 97% Nylon/13% Spandex
I feel like this is one of their staple pieces. I’ve always thought about getting the Aurora Crop, but for some reason I hadn’t before. When I saw that there was a marble colored one with this launch, I decided to go for it. I do not regret it. It’s the same material as the Luna Leggings, and it’s just super cute. I can’t wait to rock it at spin class!
One of the confusing things is the sizing chart. They don’t have any measurements to help you determine the size you need. I think they run true to size, I ordered a size small in everything. One of the things I really like is that there aren’t any tags for sizing or materials/instructions. Everything is printed directly onto the fabric, which I appreciate because sometimes tags can be annoying.
Every time I have ordered items, I have received a sticker of their logo, and it usually has a theme. This one had a cactus on it, and they even included a marble patterned pop socket with each purchase. Other items I’ve previously purchased include Luna Leggings in Sage, Marvelous, and Acai, Camilla crops in Lavender, and Charis bra in Sage. There are so many brands of athletic wear out there today. Has anyone else tried this brand? If so, let me know what you think!
