5 Facts of the Week 6-3-18
This week’s “facts” are a little less factual and a little more health/fitness and travel related.
- Apparently the Faroe Islands have the best view of the Northern Lights. I had never heard of the Faroe Islands until I read THIS ARTICLE, but now I’m ready to pack my bags and head off on my next trip (I wish). Has anyone ever seen the Northern Lights? It’s been on my list for quite some time now.
- This article is very interesting, it’s from My Fitness Pal and it’s discussing whether sleeping naked is better for your help than sleeping in clothing. I don’t know if I buy it, but it doesn’t really matter. Most of the time if you believe something works, it does! What do you think? Check out the article HERE.
- If you workout a lot, travel a lot or generally just live, it’s easier than you think to become dehydrated. This article from Aaptiv runs through 6 signs that might indicate that you are dehydrated. You can check it out HERE. Remember, if you’re thirsty you’re already dehydrated, so drink up!
- If you’ve ever started running and felt that awful pain in your shins, you know its shin splints. It’s never fun and it’s never comfortable, but this article from Aaptiv helps explain what shin splints are and how to help prevent and treat them. Check it out HERE.
- A new law in Japan caused 62,000 homes to be removed from Airbnb. The new law requires hosts to be registered with the government and limits the number of days a home can be rented out. I guess we’ll see how it all pans out. Do you think the US could require something like this in the future? Check it out HERE.
