Zyia Activewear Review
Have you heard of Zyia Activewear? I hadn’t until a friend started selling it. I’m usually not very keen on those types of operations where someone is selling a product, but I decided to give it a try.
I ordered a pair of leggings, a sports bra, and a long sleeve tie-back top.
- Radical Light n Tight Hi-Rise (7/8) Leggings in Size Small $69
- White Bomber Bra in Size Small $31
- Ash Split Back Long Sleeve T in Size XSmall $45
When I first saw these leggings I loved the pattern. They have so many different colors and styles of leggings, but I was drawn towards these ones. You all know I love color and pattern. These leggings are 27% spandex and 73% polyester. The fabric is more of a smooth and sleek material than the super soft brushed material that is common today. This also means that it will hold up a little bit better to pilling and snags than brushed material. This particular pattern is printed on a white interior, so the pattern does stretch out and show the white background, but it wasn’t terrible. I think the pattern helps disguise the white background. These particular leggings are squat proof, which is great. There is a seam at the top of the leggings to help keep them from sliding down while you’re working out. There are no pockets on the sides or in the waistband. I’m find with no waistband pockets, because who uses those tiny things anyway!
I decided on the White Bomber Bra because I needed a white sports bra, and the back was really cute. The fabric is 88% Polyester 12% Spandex. It’s very comfortable. If you read my Favorite Activewear (Tops and Sports Bras), you’ll know that I often have issues with sports bra straps being too tight and causing me headaches. This sports bra did not cause discomfort, but that’s also why I typically buy a size small, because I know it won’t be super tight.
Fall is coming, which means winter is around the corner. I wanted to try a long sleeve top that I could wear to the gym. I love the tie back of this shirt. The fabric was honestly, not what I was expecting, but I still like it. It’s a mix of 94% polyester 6% Spandex. It’s not quite the soft fabric I thought it would be. I’m still 100% going to wear it though, and I wore it last weekend after BikeMS.
I do really like this line of clothing, or at least the items I’ve tried so far. I’ve heard it compared to Lululemon and Athleta, which honestly, it’s not on that level. However, for the price, I think it’s really great stuff. I’d really like to try the All Star Bra and another pair of leggings, someday!
