P’Tula Activewear Robyn Revitalize Leggings & Faith Racerback
I’ve really become a fan of this brand. The leggings are reasonably priced, super comfortable, squatproof, mostly hide sweat (the Desiree’s are amazing at hiding sweat), and super cute! The only thing I don’t really care for is that they release new items ALL THE TIME. It sounds like a good thing, but I would prefer they release everything together once a month rather than every couple weeks. They tend to sell out of particular items, so if you want them, you have to grab them during all of the mini-releases.
With that being said, I’ve been doing ta much better job of not buying ever pair of leggings that I see. However, when I saw the Robyn Revitalize leggings being released, and they were in this fun red color, I had to try them out. I don’t have any red leggings, so what else is a girl to do.
If you read THIS POST you know that I already have a few items from Ptula, and I really like them.
- The Faith Racerback Classic Crop Top – Midnight Black size Small $38 USD
- The Robyn Revitalize Legging 24″ – Brick Red size Xsmall $62 USD
I decided to go down a size in the leggings, from my “normal” Ptula legging size. I did this because of some of the comments and the fact that the material was super stretchy! I normally buy a size small in sports bras just because I can’t stand when the straps are really tight. It sometimes gives me a headache if they are too tight on my shoulders. However, I provably should have bought an Xsmall in this top.
So what do I actually think of the recent pieces I purchased?
- Robyn Revitalize Legging – The material is a Polyester/Spandex blend. The material isn’t brushed like the Alainah leggings I previously reviewed, they are more of a sleek silky material. I really love these leggings. They are high wasted and the perfect length for me (I’m 5′-5″ tall), and very flattering. The color is amazing, the fit is great, and the best part is there is no front seam down the middle! Woot woot! Seriously these leggings are super soft and stretchy, plus they ARE squat proof, meaning no going sheer and showing your booty to the world while you’re squatting and dead lifting.
- Faith Racerback Crop Top – The material is a brushed Polyester/Spandex blend, so this has a softer finish than the leggings. They feel more like the same material as the Alainah leggings. They are currently out of stock of the black top I got, but they still have the really pretty Emerald color. This top is more of a true crop top, but has a lining with removable cup pads. They aren’t the super thin cheap pads either. There’s also a strap inside, which may have fit me better if I ordered an Small. You can see it gaping a little in the picture from the side. I really like the cut of this top in the front, and it’s incredibly comfortable.
