I like juice, because I, like most people, like sugar. However, I’ve never been a believer of juicing as a means of providing you with any nutritional/health benefit over simply eating those vegetables. Well here’s an article from SELF magazine which goes further into this, and why you don’t need to spend your hard earned money on “juices.”
Gut health is so important to our daily overall mental and physical health. If you’ve ever struggled with gut health you know how terrible it can make you feel. I found this article really interesting, as it deals with athletes and gut health.
I would say I’m pretty confident in many areas, but not all. I don’t know anyone, especially women, who doesn’t sometimes experience self doubt and negative self talk. Well this article from FabFitFun provides some easy steps to help avoid/prevent negative self talk in the future. I think it’s a useful read and the tips are something you can actually practice in your life.
I travel a bit for work, and I travel a bit for fun. This year I took a big trip to Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and swung through Hawaii on my way home. I’ve never flown Business class (hopefully someday – insert crying face), I’m trudging to the back like the rest of us common folk. I know firsthand that coach isn’t very comfortable for those long haul flights. I like to get up and take a lap of the plane as often as I can, drinking a lot of water helps me have to get up too ;-).
