Holiday 2019 Gift Guide – Splurges
Ok, these are items that you might want, but might not buy for yourself. Although no one would buy me these either… These are items that you’re looking for if you’re looking to splurge on something nice for yourself!
Rothy’s shoes – I reviewed Rothy’s Shoes a while back, and you can read that full review HERE. I still wear my Rothy’s multiple times a week, every week, and my original pair still looks as good as the day I got them. I love that you can wash them over and over again. I love that they last and I love that they are made from recycled water bottles! Although, they did add a new merino wool line this year! If you use the link provided we can both save $20 🙂
Sorel Boots – I more pairs of Sorel boots than anyone should own. Ok, maybe not, but I have a lot of them. They fit me really well, and they last forever, so I keep going back to them everytime I want new boots. These are one of my favorite pairs that I’ve had for over a year now, and I loved them so much I got them in black for this season. They definitely are not cheap though, but they are definitely something that will last for many years.
Smartwool Baselayers – I love my smartwool base layers I bought a few years ago at REI, and just recently bought a couple more at the REI sale (currently going on now until November 25th!). I’ve worn them in multiple countries, because they don’t take up much space, they don’t end up smelling if you wear them more than once, and they keep you warm! They have so many options from base layers to sweaters. I also just wore one of the tops with a skirt to work! Multi functional!
Hyperice – I would love to have this or the Theragun below. I’ve been waiting to see if they ever go on sale, because let’s be honest, they are expensive. However, for anyone that works out on a regular basis and/or has sore muscles, these things are amazing. Hyperice has multiple “gun” products to choose from, as well as a ton of other products too!
Theragun – Just like the item above, would love to have this. The two products are very similar but there are some differences between them, and I think it really just comes down to personal preference and cost you’re willing to pay for this type of item. There are multiple version to select from Thergun depending on the usage you’re looking for.
Away Suitcase – Let’s break it down…people love it. It’s expensive and you might not buy it for yourself. Personally I like the limited edition collections they come out with. They have a “luminous” collection that shimmers which is fun, and they had a collection in the summer with bright colors, otherwise I think their colors are a little safe and kind of boring. You win some you lose some.
