The Shorts Report – Finding the perfect bike shorts
If you follow me on Instagram you know that I’m on the hunt for the perfect compression/bike shorts. I have a problem with shorts riding up, and at this point in my life, I’m not willing to be uncomfortable. We’ll see if I can find what I’ll consider the “perfect shorts.”
My criteria includes:
- They don’t ride up
- Fabric is comfortable
- Squatproof
- Sweat wicking
- High-waisted
- Pockets are a plus
Here are some of the recommendations I got, but I’ll continue to add and review more as I try them. I anticipate buying and returning A LOT of shorts this year.
- Lululemon
- Old navy
- Amazon (many different brands)
- Senita
- Zyia Active
- Outdoor Voices
- Fabletics
- Target
- Oiselle
On my own I’ve already purchased and tried quite a few last year, and recently bought the Girlfriend Collective high rise bike shorts and the SPANX Look at me now Bike Shorts. Look for those reviews coming first. To be transparent, I have/am purchasing all of these shorts with my own money, so it may take a while. I will always let you know if something is gifted to me.
Stay tuned for this summer series and let me know in the comments below if you have any personal favorites/recommendations.
